Autumn Make Up Must Have by Nars

Finalmente l'autunno è arrivato.
Le temperature si sono abbassate, le giornate si stanno accorciando e le foglie cambiano colore.
Sono molto legata a questa stagione, specialmente ad ottobre; è il mese del mio compleanno, della zucca al forno, di Halloween e delle foglie secche.
Inoltre, sempre meno ci separa dal Natale il che, a meno che non siate dei piccoli Grinch, non può che riempire di gioia.
Oggi, voglio condividere con voi due prodotti (più un extra) firmati NARS, che trovo indispensabili per questa stagione.
Finally autumn has arrived.
Temperatures are going down, days are getting shorter and the leaves are getting orange.
I'm really in love with this season, especially with October; it's the month of my birthday, of pumpkings, Halloween and of dried leaves.
Plus, Christmas is around the corner, and this is a reason to be happy, unless you are a Grinch, in this case, leave this Blog.
With the season changing, we want to change not only our wardrobe, but makeup products too, swithcing to warmer tones.
Here on the Blog today, I want to share with you, two products by NARS (plus one more), wich are some autumn must have in my makeup stash.
-Duo ombretti Isolde ( €34 circa ):
Comprai questo duo di ombretti in Inghilterra in un negozio SpaceNK (il paradiso ragazze, peccato che non spediscano in Italia i prodotti NARS dal loro sito).
Desideravo questo duo da tantissimo tempo, dopo averlo visto in un video di Zoella, proprio a tema "make up autunnale".
Il duo è composto da un marrone/rame perfetto per risaltare gli occhi blu/azzurri, e un color oro intenso.
Sono tonalità pigmentate, molto sfumabili e non rilasciano quasi per nulla fall out.
Io solitamente li utilizzo proprio in combinazione, stendendo su tutta la palpebra mobile il colore più scuro, e nell'angolo interno e al centro della palpebra l'oro; sfumo poi bene con un pennello morbido i contorni del trucco. Completo il tutto passando il colore marrone anche sulla parte più esterna delle ciglia inferiori fino a circa metà palpebra per dare più dimensionalità allo sguardo.
-Eyeshadows duo in Isolde ( €34 ):
I bought this eyeshadow duo in SpaceNK when I was living in the UK (that shop is heaven girls, you english girls are so lucky!!).
I saw this duo on a Zoella video many years ago, where she used it for an autumn makeup look and I wanted it for ages.
It is composed of a dark brown/coppery shade wich enhanches blue eyes, and a gold shade.
Usually I can create a complete look with only these two eyeshadows, using the copper shade all other the lid and the gold one in the middle and in the inner coner of the eye. Then I blend all with a fluffy brush and add a bit of the darker shades on the bottom lashes to add more dimension to the eye look.
The shades are pigmented but blendable, and the fall out is minimum.
Really in love with them.
-Smudge Proof Eyeshadow base (€27):
Gli ombretti NARS sono ottimi anche senza primer, ma se volete investire dei soldi in una buona base occhi, vi consiglio assolutamente questa. Di basi per il trucco occhi ne ho provate diverse, di marche economiche e di costose, questa di NARS però la puntavo da un pezzo dopo averne sentito parlare benissimo ed in continuazione da FedericaEffe. Così, quando questa estate ho deciso di fare un po' di decluttering nella mia makeup collection, e ho finalmente buttato il famoso Primer Potion di Urban Decay che possedevo da un po' troppi anni, ho deciso che era arrivato il momento di provare questa base e, approfittando di uno sconto Sephora, ho fatto un ordine quasi interamente NARS, con lei presente.
Che dire, vale i suoi soldi. Fissa gli ombretti alla perfezione per molte ore e opacizza anche le palpebre più oleose come le mie.
Potrebbe spaventare la colorazione bianca che presenta il prodotto, ma una volta steso diventa trasparente e non sbianca affatto la palpebra.
-Smudge Proof Eyeshadow base (€27):
NARS eyeshadows are excellent even without a base, but if you want to invest some money in a good eeyshadow base, I really recomend the NARS one.
I've tried many eyeshadow bases during these years, but I've heard a lot of good reviews about this one, so I decided to try it. During this summer in fact, I did a massive decluttering of my makeup, getting rid of my trusty Urban Decay Primer Potion wich had seen better days. Using a Sephora discount code so, I decided to finally buy it. I didn't regret it, it does what it says, the eyeshadows stay longer without getting in the crease and even alone, it mattifies even the most oily eyelid as, unfortunally, I have.
Don't be scared of the white colour it has, once blended, it becomes transparent.
-Eyeliner Larger Than Life, Long wear Eyeliner in Via Appia (€25):
Altro prodotto che ho acquistato sempre con lo stesso sconto da Sephora, non pagandolo a prezzo pieno.
Sempre durante il sopra citato decluttering, ho notato che tutte, o quasi, le matite occhi che possedevano avevano ampiamente superato la loro scadenza. Avendo io degli occhi molto sensibili e particolari e che necessitano molte cure, mi sono detta: "che senso ha cambiare il mascara ogni tre mesi, se poi vado a mettermi nella rima interna dell'occhio dei prodotti scaduti??".
Per cui è finito tutto nel bidone. Rimanevo però con solo una matita nera, che non sempre uso perché mi appesantisce lo sguardo, ne volevo quindi anche una marrone, che fosse più da tutti i giorni. E' un prodotto davvero costoso per la tipologia che è, però devo dire che fa ciò che promette: ottima scrivenza e durata, inoltre non ha necessità di essere temperata perché è automatica, il che è comodissimo; odio girare con il temperino nella pochette dei trucchi, perché immancabilmente mi si apre sempre sporcando tutto.
Ci sono moltissime colorazioni, una più bella dell'altra, e hanno i nomi di vie famose, questa ad esempio si chiama Via Appia, come non acquistarla??

Another product I added to that Sephora order, was this eyepencil.
Always during the decluttering I metioned before, I noticed that all my eyeliner were too old to be used; it is really important to use makeup products that aren't expired, and for this reason I change mascara every three months more or less, but this doesn't make sense if then we use some eyeliner, even in the inner of the eye, wich are expired. So, I decided to get rid of most all of my eyeliner, leaving just one black eye pencil. I wanted however also a brown one to use it on a daily base for more natural looks. I decided to go for this one by NARS. It is really expensive for this kind of product, but as I mentioned, I didn't pay it full price. It works well, stays long and the colour is simply beautifull, furthermore is an automatic pencil, so you don't need a pencil sharpener, wich I always find terribly annoying to carry in the makeup bag with the risk of dirtying every other product.
There are a lot of different shades all beautifull, and each of them is named by famous streets of the world: brilliant! This one is called Via Appia, how can you not buy a product like that? I couldn't.

Ecco dunque che insieme al nostro abbigliamento, cambiamo anche modo di truccarci, orientandoci su toni più caldi, che ricordino il colore delle foglie sugli alberi, del tramonto e delle castagne, colori autunnali insomma.

Desideravo questo duo da tantissimo tempo, dopo averlo visto in un video di Zoella, proprio a tema "make up autunnale".
Il duo è composto da un marrone/rame perfetto per risaltare gli occhi blu/azzurri, e un color oro intenso.
